Sheesh. I've been going through computer withdrawls :P I finally caught up on my flist last night. Didn't comment a whole lot but read everything. Recap time:
Friday I finally finished cleaning my mom's porch windows. Left for Screamtown at about 4:30. My mom, Barb and I rode down and met Rob and his friend J at TGI Friday's. Had dinner and then when we were getting ready to go....J couldn't find his Screamtown ticket. Rob walked over to Barnes and Noble with him to see if they could reprint it but they didn't have computers. So we stopped at Rob's work on the way and printed it.
Screamtown was really cool! I definitely got my scream on. The first haunted house was the best. There were a group of girls ahead of us in line and it seriously took them like 5 tries just to get in the door. So....dead giveaway that someone is hiding right inside the doorway. Still screamed though once we went in. The 2nd one was ok. It could have been better. It was clown themed and had that orange construction fencing stuff as the walls.....so you could kind of see where people were hiding. The 3rd one could have been better too had they had more staff working it. Seemed like a lot of people from that house were on break when we went through. The corn maze was pretty cool. A giant headless dude jumped out and scared me and I took off runnin. He chased me and I got separated from everyone else. Only briefly though. The end of the corn maze was lame because people had clearly gone off the path and trampled corn stalks everywhere so it was hard to see what was the real path. Staff was trying to direct the group in front of us how to go the right way and kind of blew their cover so that sucked. Overall though it was fun and I'm glad we went.
Saturday I went and raked more leaves at
katielovesjoel 's mom's house for 2 hours and then went to my mom's house and mowed. Rob and Barb were dogsitting for her aunt and uncle overnight and invited us over. So we got cleaned up and packed up stuff to stay over. Went over there and grilled and hung out. Rob made steak and potatoes. I went to bed at like 10 cuz I was pooped. The next morning Barb made bacon and eggs and then we headed home. Once Jack went down for his nap I went to
katielovesjoel 's mom's again to finish up.
This morning I worked and man was it busy! There were tons of kids. I only worked for 2 hours. My mom went swimming and when she was done she came and picked Jack up so he could hang out with the ladies from swimming. They hadn't seen him in a long time since I used to only work afternoons.
Tomorrow and Thursday I'll be painting my mom's bedroom and I work wednesday and Friday. Busy busy again! Plus, Nan called and wants me to do some cleaning soon!

....there, now you don't feel like you missed anything....:)
I want to go on a haunted hay ride or something....but I get scared too easily.....Are these screamtown houses real houses?...that people live in, or abandoned houses.....
They were tents with temporary walls set up under them. So you just kind of follow the path all the way through. It would be so cool if it was actually in an abandoned house! That would be scary!
