Jack's sleep schedule has been pretty messed up since the holidays. Lately he's been sleeping in later and napping later and going to bed later. So, getting up today at 6:30 to get ready for work was real fun. He was whiny all morning. Plus, in the last week or so he's been pulling this 3:30 milk call out of nowhere. He's been night weaned for months so I don't get it. I was up with him from 3:30am to 4:30am and he just cried and whined and said ni ni (his words for milk). Finally at 4:30 (and because this has been happening far too often in the last week) I said that's it! I left his room and went back to bed and shut the monitor off. I could still hear him through the wall of course. He cried Mama, Dada, ni ni for the next 20 minutes and then went to sleep. Thank god. I was about to go back in there and who knows how much longer he would have gone on with me in there again. 

Rosemary's coming over tomorrow. I've been telling Jack but he doesn't seem to get it. Looks like I may start watching Brooke a few days a week too! Barb's mom got a job and won't be able to watch her during the day anymore. More on that later. 

We watched American Gladiators last night. I never really watched the original. I was surprised at a couple of the people that won. Thought for sure their opponets had it in the bag. That Jeff guy was really obnoxious. The firefighter Anthony was a savage. Chad sucked. Bonnie was pretty tough. I thought for sure she was going to win. 

I'm pretty bummed at how things went for TK and Rachel on Amazing Race. Hopefully they can turn it around. I laughed pretty hard when Nate told Jen he couldn't pay attention to what she was saying while the cabbie was driving. Wtf?

I finally started the Time Traveler's Wife last night. I didn't read for very long as I was pretty tired. So far so good. 

I did some cleaning today. Jack was not helpful. Trampling through my pile as I swept the floor. Throwing his toys around while I was trying to vacuum. Walking on my freshly mopped floor. Grrrr. 
I just pulled some brownies out of the oven too. They smell pretty damn good. I'm not sure if I'll be able to wait until after dinner to have one. 

Jared's car was acting weird this morning so fortunately my mom let me use her car to go to work so he could take mine. We've really had it with this car. I think we're cursed. Really?!?! Something has to break every other week?? Isn't that a bit much??

 Forgot to mention we got 9 new fish this weekend. 3 Marble Molly's that are black and white. I named them Molly, Polly, and Wally. A Plecostomus named Paul. 5 Neon Tetras that I named the The Fab Five. Well they're The Tremendous Three now :( 
We saw a pretty cool Elmo scuba guy at Petco that we might have to go back and get for Jack. He really wanted it. He had lots of fun when we went to Petco this weekend. He got to see lots of fish (all of them he referred to as Nemo - he's only seen parts of this movie on 2 occassions and not for a long time....he has a Nemo book though). He also got to see bunnies, turtles, birds, gerbils and lots of kitties as they were having a pet adoption day. He meowed at them all a bunch of times. It was really cute.
