Jack had a rough start to his night last night. We read a few books in the living room and then he said "last one" and we read 1 more book and then he asked to go ni-ni at 7! He went to bed easily but woke up a half an hour later and cried on and off for 20 minutes. Jared went up to comfort him and see if maybe he was too warm. It was really warm upstairs. He changed him into shorts and Jack still cried hysterically. I brought him some Motrin in case maybe it was teeth. He still felt really warm to me so I took his shirt off and tried calming him for a few minutes. Once he calmed down I put him back in bed and kissed him goodnight and left. He cried for about 5 minutes and then went to sleep. I didn't hear him wake up at all so I'm assuming he was just too hot. We might try leaving his window open a bit tonight.

This morning I took Daisy to the groomer's at 10 and then went and walked around the mall for an hour trying to find some damn nursing bras. No luck. Sears had 1 style and it sucked. Kohl's had 1 style and it sucked. Macy's had zilch. I stopped at a few garage sales on my way home and got Jack some books, a Cookie Monster DVD about letters, a car racing thing and a clifford plate. I also got a storage bin thing with 3 drawers for his room.

Jared worked outside doing some landscaping. He lined the side of the house with bricks and laid some of that weed repelling tarp stuff and then covered it with mulch.

I went to pick Daisy up and walked around Petco until she was done. It took just over 3 hours for them to bathe, brush, trim, clean ears, brush teeth and cut her nails. I picked her up some treats and piece 'o shit tennis balls while I waited. She looks so fluffy now. She's super soft and smells good. Well worth the $62!! She demolished one of the tennis balls on the way home. Why the hell does Petco even have these pieces of garbage?

I came home and dropped her off and went to Walmart. I decided to just take a quick gander at the bra section but I pretty much figured I'd be buying them online and spending between $30-$40 a bra. They had some nursing bras so I tried them on but figured they'd be pieces of crap. Miraculously they fit and I really liked them! $8 a piece!!! So I got 2 and only spent $16. How cool is that? I also got some Penn tennis balls for Daisy and those are much more durable. They were cheaper than the ones at Petco too. Go figure. Got a bunch of other stuff and then decided to swing over to Target and look at purses and wallets. My wallet went to shit last week and I've been wanting a new purse. Mine's big enough for my stuff but when I need to stuff a sippy cup and snacks and other things for Jack.....when I can get by without the diaper bag.....it's just too cramped in there. So I found a nice wallet for $7 and a nice purse for $10! I also got Jack some animals that make sounds from the dollar section.

Jared finally sold the blue demon today! Hooray!!! I reposted the ad on Craigslist this morning and within 5 minutes his phone was ringing off the hook! I'm so glad we finally got that done. No more car sitting in the driveway.

We decided to go to Applebees for dinner. There were a few mishaps. We brought some food for Jack but ordered him Chicken Fingers right away while we figured out what we wanted. A few minutes later she brought out mac n' cheese for him. I had been drinking a Sierra Mist and while I was cleaning up Jack a bit after he ate his applesauce, she came and "topped off my water". Then I ordered the Hand Battered Walleye and got some other form of walleye! The manager gave us a gift certificate for $10 off our next visit and the waitress said dessert was on her. So we got 3 of those shooter desserts. Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse and Apple Cinnamon something or other. They were so good and Jack wanted nothing to do with them!

Pretty girl!

Pretty puppy!!

Sounds like you had a fun shopping day!! All of my nursing bras came from Wal*mart too!! Well.. the ones that I actually WORE, anyways. I had gotten some from Motherhood before Aiden was born, and they were incredibly uncomfortable and annoying, so I never used them!! What a waste of $50 worth of nursing bras!!! @@

My husband absolutely REFUSES to eat at Applebee's!!! Chilis has something like those dessert things... they are YUM!!! Sorry your dinner got so messed up, I would have been so mad!! I have NO TOLERANCE for stuff like that now that Im married to a restaurant manager!!

Poor Jack last night!! Yanno, until I just read your entry, it never even occured to me that Aiden's temp and runny nose (and somewhat diarrhea the other day) could all be teething-related. Its funny, because hes already 2 and a half, and still doesnt have his 2yr molars... and I keep forgetting that hes going to get them unless hes telling me that his teeth hurt... like yesterday! I felt around in his mouth pretty good though, and I dont feel anything yet. Poor baby. I feel so bad for him! Hope Jack had a better night tonite!!

It was fun...aside from initially being disappointed about not finding nursing bras. And boy did my feet hurt by the end of the day :P

We used to spend quite a bit of time at Applebees. We hung out there at the bar a lot so we always see people we know when we go in there and usually we know some of the staff. I usually get pretty irritated by stuff like them messing up my order but I wasn't too annoyed last night. I kind of felt bed for our sever. The table next to us had 3 kids and they were TRASHING the place. They brought nothing to occupy the children....especially the little one. She looked to be under a year....was pouring salt on the table and spilling things everywhere! We always bring a ton of things to occupy Jack and don't even end up using all of them. That and I think someone didn't show up in her section so she was taking on more tables than she was supposed to.

Yea it seems like every once in a great while his 2 year molars move a milimeter and give him some discomfort...but they haven't come in yet. So whenever he's not himself I suspect it's that. I think he was just too warm that night though. Last night was much cooler and his window was cracked open and he slept great.

Well the ones I got are made of a really stretchy material in the cup and the underwires are removeable. I think they're going to work fine. When my milk first came in I was huge but after we got into a regular routine....they never really got too big.
That's what great about them though....if they don't work....I'm not out a ton of money :o)
