We all took nice long naps yesterday afternoon so that was good. Jack and Brooke played with his dumptruck and police car in the driveway for a bit in the afternoon. Rob, Barb and Brooke were all coming/staying for dinner.

Jack slept all night. We swapped the humidifier in his room with the super noisy air purifier from the spare room. Some nights I know he only wakes up because he hear's me go the bathroom and our house is really creaky.

Tonight Jared is bringing home one of those Little Tikes play house things and a double stroller from a woman he works with! I'm pretty excited.

I have Brooke and Lizzie all day today and Charlotte this afternoon. It's not supposed to rain so we'll be outside for sure. Barb was going to send a teeter-totter thing with Brooke. She's also getting us discount tickets for Underwater World for Sunday! :O)

The forecast for tomorrow no longer says rain. YAY!! I'll be able to have all the kids outside.

 We cut our walk short on Saturday. It was so cold and windy. It snowed yesterday too and it's supposed to snow today. None of it's accumulating but still annoying. How am I supposed to justify flip-flop shopping? :o) It's getting REALLY hard to tie my shoes though so I need it to be warm enough to wear flip flops soon! Fortunately my feet aren't swelling at all yet....I just can't reach them so good.

Yesterday we got some chores done around the house. I got Jack's room looking like an actual room now! He loves it. He's got toys and books up there and I moved his roadway rug and cars up there. He likes to play in there. Now there's plenty of room in the living room for the baby stuff we'll be dragging out in a few weeks.

I went and worked at my mom's for a few hours and finished cutting the last of the ties. Thank god! I wanted to fist fight those ties. They're very frustrating to cut out and have been a VERY stressful job for my mom. Hopefully she finished them all last night as dude was coming to get them today. Jack napped on her bed while we were downstairs working and when he woke up, he got off the bed, opened the door and stood at the top of the steps and said "Mama!". It was funny. I had a feeling he might do that as opposed to sit in her bed and cry. Her doorknob is pretty easy to turn. He really likes being a big boy now. He gets mad when I break up food into little pieces for him!

Starting today I'm watching Brooke every day, all day! Barb got a new job and starts today. Her hours are regular hours now and her mom's starting to work full time too so she'll be spending quite a bit more time here. Jack already asks "Brooke comin?" everyday :o)


We watched the Big Brother finale last night. I really hate the whole juror aspect. I could care less what those people have to say. You lost....just vote. I would have been happy had either of them won so it wasn't too exciting. Kind of interesting though considering Adam had Ryan do all the dirty work. 

We started watching The Alaskan Experiment....I think that's what it's called. It's pretty interesting. 4 different groups of people are dropped in Alaska and have to make their way a few miles to their cabin or tent and then spend the next 3 months there roughing it. The father/2 daughter team is going to fight A LOT! I can't believe those girls sat around eating all the limited rations (sp?) while he was out fishing....and then fought over boot placement!

Jack's new favorite show is Big Big World. I tivo'd it for him a while back and he wasn't interested but now he loves it. He asks for it every morning!

I was putting him down for his nap today at my mom's cuz I worked there a bit this morning and he said "g'night, sleep tight" which is weird cuz we don't say "sleep tight" so I don't know where he got that.

After Pop's birthday breakfast at my mom's we went home and Jack and I napped while Jared scooped poop and tried to figure out what was wrong with the dryer. Looks like we're going dryer shopping tonight :/
In the afternoon it was really nice out so we hung out in the backyard for a bit.

I dried 2 loads of laundry at my mom's this morning while doing some cutting and pressing for her. Jack, Lizzie and I walked up to Podvin Park this afternoon for a bit. Then when Charlotte got here the kids played outside for a bit more.

Some new Jack-isms: "GOD!!" "Oh, jeez!" "Ready? Let's Go!" "Just a minute!" "C'mere!" and he even looks up as if rolling his eyes when he says "God!".

He said "Whoa! That's a big teddy bear!".

After spending some time at the park we walked around and checked out the shops along with a stop by the river. Jack got a new stuffed Curious George since he's obsessed with him lately. We had lunch out on the patio at the Freighthouse. Jack fell asleep on the way home holding George in the car. We napped together when we got home too since he only got about a 15 minute nap in the car. Thank god! I was wiped out. Stillwater has some very steep streets! We napped for 2 hours.....with George of course :o)

Our computer's fixed!!! YAY!!!!! Jared took it to work yesterday and a dude he works with took it apart and soldered some part that was loose so now the cord plugs in real nice and it charges!! Hooray!!!!! :O) Saved us some caching eh? !!! Now he needs to find out what kind of cookies dude likes so I can make him some. 

We're going to Teddy Bear Park today with Barb and Brooke. I'm excited. We haven't been there since last summer and Jack wasn't walking yet so he could only enjoy a very little part of it. Rob, Barb and Brooke came over last night and we grilled and they stayed over. I musta been really tired. I fell asleep putting Jack to bed at 8:15!  Didn't wake up until like 10:45. 

Jack's been saying "lookit!" a lot. Like if he's flipping through a book he'll say "Mama, lookit!" and if I don't look right away....he says it over and over and the "Mama" comes out more and more annoyed like!

 Holy crap I'm stuffed. We made pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns for breakfast! It was good. I'm going to try to be productive again today. I'm getting a late start though. I've been up since 6:45 but haven't done much. I'm going to make meatloaf, organize all the crap in the bathroom and toss the ridiculous amount products that never get used, go through all the baby clothes Barb brought over yesterday and start washing some. She brought over like 7 boxes of stuff! I have to go through Jack's stuff too because he has a lot of gender neutral stuff we'll be able to use as well. Also, I of course have to stencil Keira on some white onesies :o) I have tons of white onesies so that'll be fun to make some for her. I might also make cookies or brownies. We'll see. 

I watched Across The Universe yesterday. It was ok. I didn't love it or anything. We still need to watch Lost tonight. I can't believe the drama that goes on in the Big Brother house! 2 medical emergencies in one night is nuts. I'm excited The Riches is going to be back on soon. I'm sure there are lots of shows coming back on in the next few weeks. I can't remember them. Going to have to make sure they're on the tivo list :P

We've been making Jack say "up please" when he wants to be picked up and now he does it all the time. It's so cute! We've been trying to get him to say please quite a bit actually. Like he'll say "Yo!" when he wants to watch Yo Gabba Gabba and I make him say "Yo please". You can't refuse him when he asks like that. Needless to say, it was kind of a pain to make chicken casserole with him on my hip yesterday :P I'm sure that was a sight. Pregnant woman with toddler on her hip making dinner =) Another thing he's been saying is "Kiki! What?" It's hysterical the way he says it. Like he's calling for me and then answering himself. The "what" comes off as kind of an annoyed "what" so that's what makes it so funny. I'm sure he heard me responding to Jared at one point and it stuck :P

We're about to go on our adventures for the day. First we're meeting my mom at Caribou, then going to the mall to look for dresses. She needs one for the wedding, I need one for the bachelorette party. I need shoes too. Then I'm going to try to get to the library right when they open to get their museum pass so I can get us 4 free adult passes to the Minnesota Zoo for Friday. 
We're going shopping again tomorrow with Barb and Brooke so if I don't find shoes and a dress today, I'll look again tomorrow. The bachelorette party is Saturday so it's crunch time!
