Yesterday morning Jack and I went to Walmart and we were going to go to Cub too but he fell asleep in the car so I brought him home and he went right back to sleep in his bed! That would never have happened like a month ago. A few minutes of napping in the car would have replaced his nap for the day. Yesterday he napped for almost 3 hours though! So after I put him down I went to Cub by myself which was nice because lately he doesn't like shopping that much. My pelvis was hurting so much yesterday morning. It was hard to walk. Then when I got home I was starving because I'd only eaten some banana bread that morning. I sat on the porch and was too tired to get up and make something. Then I talked to my sister for almost 2 hours and didn't end up eating anything until almost 3!!
In the afternoon we hung out in the backyard for a bit. Jared picked up dog poop and cleaned the garage and Jack played on his toys and finally mastered the ladder to his slide! I sat in the chair and did Sudoku's.
We watched There Will Be Blood. It was kind of weird. I really hate the ending on most movies these days. Why is it so hard to put a decent ending in a movie? We still need to watch Grey's Anatomy, America's Next Top Model, The Riches, and The Alaska Experiment.
Our computer's being wonky again. It's like the battery cord is loose again! GOD Dell....could you make bigger pieces of crap????

I was going to have all 4 kids over today but now Rosemary's not coming. She hasn't been feeling too hot and is possibly getting teeth. Hopefully she feels better before her birthday party this weekend.
It's supposed to be rainy all day so I can't even have the kids outside :( We played outside yesterday for almost 2 hours. It was really warm out.
We went to Applebee's last night for dinner. Then we stopped at Cub and got some cheesecake to bring home. It was delicious and I ate way too much :o) Jack loves cheese and wouldn't even try a mozarella stick! I peeled the breading off and told him it was a string cheese but he didn't believe me.
Tonight is movie night and we're watching There Will Be Blood. We also have Walk Hard but I don't think we'll be watching it tonight.
We're also going to be implementing a new sleep routine for Jack starting tonight. We gotta start using some tough love and teach this kid to fall asleep without us should he wake up and to initially go to bed for either of us....and without physical comfort. It may be a long night but it's gotta be done. Hopefully it'll only take a few nights before he is used to it.
The cast of this season's The Real World is a "hot mess". Especially Joey and Brianna. Yikes. Why would that dude even go on this show if he has a history of alcoholism? Ya ever seen this show dude? People booze it up quite a bit. His roomates are kind of dicks for peer pressuring him all the time too but he just shouldn't even be in that situation. Brianna is raunchy. Is she actually a stripper or does she just wear a lot of stripper clothes? We missed the first episode. Greg is a snob. And he calls everyone else stuck-up?
Last night's Survivor was pretty good. I'm glad it turned out the way it did :o)

Jack's been saying "blanket time!" a lot lately and I'm not sure where he gets it. We used to have blanket time when he was very little but we haven't used those words in about a year.
I ran into my uncle at the gas station yesterday and he said he had some baby toys for me. So I stopped by his house to pick them up. They belonged to his girlfriend's granddaughter. One of the toys he had was a Thomas The Train car thing where you push the little man down and then it takes off. Jack LOVES "Thomas Choo Choo" so he was pretty excited to see that. I also got a big box of clothes for Keira. They're pretty much all toddler clothes and like 3 pairs of shoes. This girl is pretty well set for a while!!
We watched Sweeney Todd yesterday and didn't really like it. We don't like musicals so we knew there was a pretty good chance we wouldn't like it. I watched Atonement the day before and really liked it. If I had been able to pay better attention, I probably would have balled my eyes out at the end. It's hard to watch movies with Jack around so I ended up pausing it a lot.
I'm so glad Natalie is finally gone on Big Brother. I think Sharon got screwed on the HOH competition. That "remaining couple" question with the hamsters was lame. She would have won if they didn't have that stupid question. Now we get to listen to them all try to figure out who the remaining couple is all the damn time on Big Brother After Dark. Awesome.
Survivor was pretty funny last night. I liked that whatshername spilled her bucket before even finding out what she would get so she got nothing :o)
I would totally watch a show just following around The Countess from Real Housewives of NYC. She was my favorite. I liked Jill too. Bethenny was ok. The other 2.....annoying. Ramona was such a biatch!! Horrible mother too. Poor Avery. I can't belive the way she attacked Alex and Simon! Yea he shouldn't have come but Alex is the one that told him it was ok and it wasn't the end of the world for pete's sake. I don't like that couple either but Ramona was way out of line. I can't believe the crap Alex and Simon were letting their kids get away with at that dinner party!!
Jack has been having so much fun with his new George. The other day we had the porch door open and he was coming and going. A few times he would toss George out onto the porch and say "bye George" "I love you George" and then slam the door. I told him George is probably sad now. Then I would open the door and he would go get George and hug him and say "sorry George". Then he was out on the porch for a bit so I peeked at him and saw this:
He loves to swaddle his "babies".
( 2 more )
I was supposed to have Lizzie and Charlotte yesterday but their mom Kim is really sick so they didn't come. Jared was working from home since I had that doc appt in the am so while Jack napped I went to down to my mom's to do some more cutting. She fixed a couple pairs of pants for me too. Today Rosemary is coming. I was hoping we could take a bike ride later with my mom....weather permitting. We'll see...it kind of looks like rain. Forecast says sprinkles so....if we do go...it'll prolly have to be a short ride.
I had this whole post typed up and Jack tossed a basketball at me and it bumped the keyboard and away went my post. LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!

I went to my mom's last night to do some cutting. Came home and Jack was not going to bed for his daddy :/ He did a few nights but now he won't anymore. He does fine at first. They read books and then all of a sudden he says "where'd Mama go?" and then starts wailing.
I'm getting Atonement today from Netflix! Yay!!
While we were playing outside yesterday the neighbors let their 3 big obnoxious dogs out and they proceeded to bark at us for 10 minutes. I told them to stop a bunch but they wouldn't. I can't stand people that let their dogs bark but when they're barking at the neighbors who are in their own backyard.....that's just ridiculous. Good times.....know how often we plan on being outside now that it's nice out??? Argh. They're normally pretty obnoxious and at times bark at us when we're in our kitchen but usually don't bark at us that much when we're outside for an extended period of time. So they're probably parking at the kids. Great.

Went to breakfast Saturday morning with my aunt Cathy and her friend Joan. It was funny because Jack kept saying "all done, go bu-bye's, go shopping". Guess he was anxious to go to Walmart. Yesterday morning I was in the bathroom getting ready to go to Cub and Jack was all ready so he was banging on the bathroom door saying "Kiki, c'mon, go bu-bye's!".
Jack's been waving a lot and saing c'mon. He did it yesterday to the moon when he looked out the window. He does it when he's playing and wants you to play with him. He's been asking to play catch a lot lately too.
He's been saying "love you!" and giving lots of kisses.
Yesterday Keira decided to wedge herself as far up into my ribs as she could get. It was so uncomfortable. I was kind of pressing on her and trying to get her to move and then she would kick really hard! Little stinker.
I spent 5 hours cutting out interfacing for the giant necktie order my mom has. It was hard for me to find a comfortable position to crank them out. I didn't get nearly as many done as I should have in 5 hours :/
It was a free weekend on Starz so we tivo'd a bunch of movies again. We watched 3 on Saturday while I was doing all that cutting. We watched Hot Fuzz, Dazed & Confused and Wild Hogs. Last night we watched Freedomland. None of these movies are real winners in my book. Well, Dazed & Confused is always good but the other 3 I had never seen before and don't really care to see again. I also tivo'd Deja Vu. Hopefully it's not half bad.
I have Rosemary today and Lizzie and Charlotte this afternoon. Tomorrow just Lizzie and Charlotte. Wednesday we're planning on going to Teddy Bear Park with Barb and Brooke. It's supposed to be really nice out! Thursday morning I have my glucose test. Lame.

We watched 3:10 to Yuma last night. I really liked it! For a western...it wasn't half bad :P Much better than The Asass of JJ.
We're going to breakfast at Keys this morning with my aunt Cathy and then Jack and I will probably go to Walmart to get a bunch of stuff. Then while he's napping I need to do that cutting for my mom.
I'm pretty excited with what's going on on Big Brother :O)
Well, I'm outta battery already....and gotta go dry my hair. Hopefully I can catch up later this afternoon.

I just finished watching Kite Runner. Yea, I cried. I forgot kind of how that book went. I haven't read it in a while and I read A Thousand Splendid Suns in between so I wasn't totally sure what to expect which is probaby a good thing.
I'm suffering from some clumsiness lately. I slid down the bottom 3 stairs earlier. Then after I took a shower I was dousing the walls with water to make sure any stray hairs made their way down to the drain. We have a glass cup in the bathroom and the cup just slid out of my hand while I was dousing the shower. So I basically tossed a glass cup into the shower! Fortunately it didn't break. I was rather annoyed though that Jared only left me a piece of soap the size of a pringle to soap up with. The other day I tripped over a shoe and Jack laughed at me! Yesterday I tripped over the high chair leg and he said "oh Mama, careful!" What a goof. I was expecting him to laugh at me again.
He says upstairs, downstairs, and railing now! As well as light off, light on. Which is fun when you're in the bathroom doing stuff and he turns the light off. He's decided it's so fun to boss the animals around that maybe he should try bossing Mama around. He wanted me to come read a book with him yesterday. Usually he'll pick out a book and say "read it?" or "this one" and sit down. Yesterday he said "c'mon Mama! Do it!".
This morning when I turned on the tv he said "Yo Handy Barney?" Well, that's a time saver! Usually he'll say "Yo?" "Handy Manny?" "Barney?" I guess he doesn't have time to say all 3 anymore. At bedtime we read Mama Mama, Papa Papa, Goodnight Moon and The Going To Bed Book. He's started saying Mama Papa Goodnight Moon when he's ready for bed :P
I hate Barney. I usually don't let him watch it cuz I hate it so much. But it's cute as hell when he sings the Barney song :o)
- Mood:
calm
It was kind of funny because Jack was just playing with toys and then all of a sudden stopped and rubbed his eyes and said "Goodnight Moon?". So Jared changed him and then went to the bathroom and while he was in the bathroom Jack stood at the bottom of the stairs and said "c'mon Mama!" and I told him your daddy's coming. He paused for a second and then said "c'mon Daddy!" like he didn't care who was coming but whoever was needed to hurry up. I'm pretty relieved that that went so well. This whole weaning/new bedtime routine process has been so easy. It's amazing.
I'm way behind on reading everyone's posts. Sorry! Hopefully I'll get caught up at some point today. I think Rob, Barb and Brooke might be coming over this morning to play in the backyard since we aren't going to that indoor park but I haven't talked to them so we'll see. I want to take Jack to get a haircut at some point today too. My mom mentioned a possible bike ride this afternoon too. We'll see. I have no clue what the weather's sposta be like today.
We watched The Assassination of Jesse James last night. Good god. I can't see why that movie needed to be 2 hrs. 39 minutes. It was interesting and all but SO LONG! Not very exciting either so unless you're a JJ enthusiast....I wouldn't recommend it. I was getting very sleepy watching it.
I got more strawberries yesterday so I can make Julius' today! Yippee!!
We got Jack some of those foam bath tub letters and numbers last weekend at Target. He had some that I got at a garage sale but not a complete set. We just keep them in a bucket in the living room with all his other toys for now. He has a ton of bath toys and doesn't need them in the tub. We just play with them on the floor. He's already gotten quite a bit better at knowing his letters just in the last week!
I picked up an alphabet puzzle yesterday at Walmart too. I had been looking for one but hadn't come across one I liked. I wanted them shaped like the actual letters......most I've seen were just squares. How's that a puzzle really if they're all just squares? We sing the alphabet song all the time and it's really cute to hear him sing it. He used to only chime in with "now my know my" but now he's actually starting to sing some of the letters! I saw something I want at Walmart.....I like doing puzzles and I wanted to get a big one but I'd have to keep it out on the porch and work on it from time to time so Jack wouldn't pull it all on the floor. I don't really like that idea. I really want one of the mats that you do the puzzle on and just roll it up and store it when you're not working on it. All the pieces stick to the mat! I know.....I'm a dork....but I want one :P
Every time I go to Walmart I tell myself I should go there more. They're so much cheaper than Target and Cub foods and have more/different selections of things. They had Little Tikes Cozy Coupes for $20 cheaper than at Target! I want to get Jack one but I'm holding out for garage sales. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find him one.....that or a big wheel or something similar. I saw some Radio Flyer big wheel type things too for around $50. If I can't find anything good by his birthday....maybe we'll get one. I dunno....I really want to get him a table top train set and that would prolly be the big ticket item this year. We'll see. He does already have a dump truck and a police car that he can ride on but they don't seem to steer very well.

Now we're all having banana mango julius'. They're pretty damn good!
Jack says "bless you" now whenever someone sneezes. He also attempted to say Rosemary today for the first time. It came out Romay. He has been calling Charlotte "Lizzie" ever since they started coming over here but yesterday he was attempting to say Charlotte. It came out something like "Chawa". It's pretty cute.
I finished the Taken series last night. It was pretty good but I'm looking foward to getting more movies from Netflix now. We're hoping to get American Ganster or 3:10 to Yuma for Friday. There's a wait on both so we may not get them this week unless we go to Blockbuster and rent them. We'll see.
I have Brooke, Lizzie and Charlotte today. Yesterday Lizzie and Charlotte had fun playing with the barbies. We played a few games of crazy 8's too. I got a 2-pack of card games at the dollar store and 1 of them was supposed to be a match game but I got 2 crazy 8's. I guess they could be used as a match game but still.....I was kinda bummed since Jack can't really participate in crazy 8's. I also got some flash cards for him that we played with a bit yesterday. There's 3 sets. 1 for colors, 1 for shapes, and 1 for numbers. He already knows his colors and shapes but it's good to practice and hopefully these will help him learn his numbers. We'll see. No big rush on that. Another thing I got at the dollar store is this pre-k Barney book. I hate Barney but Jack and that book are inseperable :/ He wanted it first thing this morning and was tearin the house up looking for it.
Jack's favorite thing to do is mess with Daisy. Especially when all she wants to do is nap. So she just keeps getting up and moving to a new spot to lay down and then he follows her.

Jack went to bed at 8:30 and just now woke up! I didn't hear a peep out of him all night. I went to bed about 10 and just got up too. We were in need of some good sleep I guess.
I have the craziest dreams while pregnant. Last night I dreamt I was married to Gary Busey at one point...years ago! ICK!!! I think I was bawling in my dream and I woke up and my eyes feel sore.
My hands have been going numb more and more at night. My pinky finger on my right hand is still numb and tingly!
We've been falling way behind on our shows this week. I've been so tired at night that we don't get to watch more than 1 or 2. We still need to watch Dirt, Lost, The Riches, and the movies we tivo'd last weekend. That and I haven't watched the 2 Taken discs I got from Netflix. I also have been watching High School Confidential. Don't make fun of me! That's the first thing I've ever tivo'd from the WE channel :P We just watched ANTM last night and The L Word season finale the night before. I can't stand that Dominique on ANTM and I really can't see why she's made it so far. She's butt! L Word finale was pretty good. I love when bad things happen to Jenny =) Who knew Jody was such a looney?!?!

We had fun at my mom's yesterday. Jack looked cute as can be in his little polo shirt. The kids had fun hunting for eggs and then Jack was really excited opening them and finding lots of fruit snacks. He loves fruit snacks. He was so looking forward to seeing aunty Cathy. I told him in the morning all the people we were going to see that afternoon and then all day he was asking about aunty Cathy :o)
( pics from Easter )
It's a good thing I got "Oh Hi! How's it goin?" on video cuz he won't say it anymore :( We tried getting him to say it yesterday and he wouldn't. Well, he did once we got home :P
I have Brooke in the afternoons this week Monday - Wednesday and Lizzie every afternoon except today and Charlotte just Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Next week I'll start watching Rosemary again but only on Fridays.
Thursday Jared has off and we're going to the Children's Museum in the morning and then meeting his mom for lunch for her birthday.
Jack's been off the teet for 5 days! It's going very well. Yesterday I got him to nap with me (I never fell asleep though :( I was almost asleep and then had to pee) no problem and the last few nights have been a piece of cake. He cries for about 30 seconds and then yawns and goes to sleep holding my thumb. Actually I think night before last he didn't even want my thumb or cry! Actually, 2 of the 5 nights he didn't cry at all at bedtime. Hooray!!
We watched 300 the other day. I thought it was much better than some of the other crap we've seen lately. We also tivo'd Hot Fuzz, Idiocracy, Smokin Aces (seen that), and Scent of a Woman. Neither of us have ever watched all of Scent of a Woman. I'm getting disc 4 of the series Taken probably today or tomorrow.
My mom's picking us up after she goes swimming so we can start on the pirate pants!

My mom's birthday cake (carrot cake) is in the oven and it smells damn good! We're celebrating her birthday along with Easter tomorrow.
New things that Jack says:
Watch out! (he's heard us say this to Daisy a lot - that dog is always in the way - usually he says it to Daisy but he's also said it to Jenks and Brooke!)
Go play! ( I have no idea where he picked this up....lol...er wait)
Here ya go Mama
Here ya go Daddy
Thank you Mama
Thank you Daddy
Peepee in the potty (not that he's done this - he's been having a lot of naked time the last couple of days with his rash and I've tried getting him to go in the potty but it hasn't happened)
Jared made hodge podge malts last night. He used Cadbury (sp?) chocolate eggs, Reeses peanut butter cup egg things, and a few Kit Kats for good measure. They were awesome! Tonight we're going to attempt Snickers malts :o)
Free Cinemax this weekend! Jared's tivo'ing a few movies. 300 being one of them. I know it's supposed to be pretty violent but I want to see it.
I had a flesh eating zombie dream last night. Man I hate those. I just had one of those a few weeks ago and I've watched NO flesh eating zombie movies lately so where is this coming from??

No kids today. Just me and Jack. I only have Brooke this week. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Keira was kicking so hard yesterday that I saw my stomach move a couple of times! I can't believe I'll already be at 6 months on Thursday! My next OB appt is Wednesday.
We watched Lost last night. What the hell? I thought there were only 6 that get off the island......it seems like they're flashing forward and showing more than that have made it back.....
Jack's sleep schedule was so weird this weekend. Saturday we were shopping a bunch so he got 2 short naps in the car. Later in the afternoon he fell asleep on Jared and napped for about a half hour. Then he was up until 11 :/ He still was ready to get up at 6:30 yesterday. Then at noon I got him to sleep....sort of.....he was kind of out but kept rubbing his eyes. I snuck out and tried to go take a nap myself but moments later heard him banging on the door :/ So I brought him downstairs to hang out with Jared and went back up and napped until 2. When I came down Jared said he had just fallen asleep. I took a shower and shortly after I got out, he woke up. Last night he did go to bed about 9:30 though and I just went in at 8 and woke him up. He was pretty whiny all day yesterday and I don't wanna deal with that business today. No more late afternoon naps! He also didn't want any dinner last night.....I finally got him to eat a 1/2 pb&j sandwich at about 7 and then some grapes. Goofy kid.
I watched No Country For Old Men Saturday night and Jared watched it Sunday morning. We were not that impressed. That happens every time we watch an Academy Award winning film. It was ok....but not great. And it had the kind of ending I hate.
We never got around to watching Boondock Saints this weekend and then Jared noticed it was on cable yesterday morning. That always happens. As soon as I get an older movie from Netflix, they play it on cable :/
Yesterday the snow was almost gone. Today it's snowing something fierce :/

I watched Across The Universe yesterday. It was ok. I didn't love it or anything. We still need to watch Lost tonight. I can't believe the drama that goes on in the Big Brother house! 2 medical emergencies in one night is nuts. I'm excited The Riches is going to be back on soon. I'm sure there are lots of shows coming back on in the next few weeks. I can't remember them. Going to have to make sure they're on the tivo list :P
We've been making Jack say "up please" when he wants to be picked up and now he does it all the time. It's so cute! We've been trying to get him to say please quite a bit actually. Like he'll say "Yo!" when he wants to watch Yo Gabba Gabba and I make him say "Yo please". You can't refuse him when he asks like that. Needless to say, it was kind of a pain to make chicken casserole with him on my hip yesterday :P I'm sure that was a sight. Pregnant woman with toddler on her hip making dinner =) Another thing he's been saying is "Kiki! What?" It's hysterical the way he says it. Like he's calling for me and then answering himself. The "what" comes off as kind of an annoyed "what" so that's what makes it so funny. I'm sure he heard me responding to Jared at one point and it stuck :P

Barb is dropping off some baby clothes today on her way to work. Yippee! I'm excited to go through them. Originally I had told her no rush on getting them to us but now I'm antsy to go through them and organize what we'll need out and what can go in tubs in the closet. The plan is for Jack to stay in his room and Keira will sleep in our bed at first. We'll see how good of a sleeper she is and how often she nurses at night before attempting to move her to her own room. I imagine it'll be a good 6 months before we're ready for that. That's how long Jack slept with us so we'll see. I don't plan to be schleppin' back and forth all night. Once she's ready for her own room, Jack will move to the spare room downstairs. There goes our spare room/storage room :( Oh well. Maybe that'll be the excuse we need to get rid of things and move more things to the basement. Still will be a drag though because Rob and Barb stay in that room when they stay over and Amy & Erik stay in that room when they're in town.
Someone wants to come over today to look at Jared's car!! Yippee!!
We watched The Good Shepard last night and we couldn't even watch the whole thing. Snoozeville!! I rarely turn a movie off in the middle. I always have to find out what happens no matter how bad it is and I just couldn't sit through this one. All talk, no action. It was pretty confusing too. Oh well. I should be getting Across The Universe from Netflix today. Hopefully it's good.

We looked at Target for replacement sponges for our soap dispensing kitchen sponge thing that stands up on the counter and they didn't have them. We looked there because Cub no longer stocks them. Target didn't have any so I looked online and I'm pretty sure the brand is Home Best but I couldn't find a single thing online from Home Best. WTF?? Did they just disappear? They still sell the original at Cub but the replacement sponges they sell now are cheap pieces of crap and fall off the damn thing within 2 days. I'm pretty pissed off because there aren't any other models that stand on the counter. What the hell am I supposed to do with it if it doesn't stand on the counter? Like I want a cup on the counter that it sits in. Argh. Amy & Erik can't even get them out in Seattle so I had to send them a bunch back around Christmas. I wish I would have bought more at the time!
We watched We Own the Night last night. It left us a little confused.
We just finished watching Survivor. Wow! I can't believe that dude got a bunch of people to vote Mary off and then he voted for Tracy!! Sheister! That was the stupidest move ever. They totally should have got rid of Chet. He did HORRIBLE. Dude can't swim and wasn't even phased by the fact that he took forfreakingever and wasn't bright enough to suggest he work on the puzzle instead of do the swimming. Tool. They had plenty of time to break up the lousy 2 person alliance of Mary and whatshisname. There was no need to do that now.
Things are heating up on Big Brother! Boston dude and Natalie getting freaky deaky and then Jen and Ryan in the shower!!
I just ordered this food and these dishes for Jack. He's going to love them! I want to find him a play kitchen at a garage sale this spring. I'm getting pretty antsy for garage sale season!!

We're going to the aquarium on Wednesday. I wanted to possibly go to the children's museum and the zoo since everything is so close to Amy & Erik's house. Jared checked the weather yesterday and it's supposed to rain everyday :( Might have to skip the zoo. I'll have to ask Amy how much of it is outside because I really would like to go there too. We're only going to be there 3 full days so If we only go to the aquarium that's fine. Our flight leaves tomorrow at 2:30 so I want to be at the airport by 12:30 or earlier to see if we can score ourselves the bulkhead or a pair of seats. Hopefully Jack will take a short nap on the way to the airport that will tide him over until our departure at 2:30 when he can nap again. We fly home on Friday at 12:15 so that should work out pretty good as far as nap time. We'll see.
Jack had a strange night. I think it was around midnight when I heard him crying and I went in there thinking he'd just lay back down, hold my thumb and fall asleep per usual. He didn't want anything to do with my thumb. He was really worked up and cried for maybe 20 minutes. I don't know what his deal was. I kept trying to get him to lie down next to me and he would for like a minute and then pop back up and wail some more. He finally fell asleep with me rubbing his back. I think he had a bad dream maybe.
I went to Cub yesterday and it was one of those days where they have the hockey team or something bagging groceries. I never let those kids bag my groceries. #1 they're not any good at it and #2 I'm very anal about how I pack my groceries....especially if I'm getting a lot of stuff and have Jack with me. The cart gets crowded fast. Fortunately yesterday I didn't have Jack with me and I wasn't getting that much stuff. However, I specifically went to a non-bagging lane because I thought that meant those guys wouldn't even ask to bag my stuff. Well they didn't ask.....they just started bagging! I never have cash on me .....which is I guess reason #3 why I don't want those kids bagging my groceries....I have no money for you guys! By the time I noticed they were doing it they were almost done so I was like crap.....thanks guys....here's some change. But man.....they did a real number bagging my groceries let me tell ya. I had maybe 2 bags worth of groceries in 4 paper bags and 2 plastic bags!!! WTF?? That and the eggs and grapes were underneath heavier items.....things like lotion and peanut butter were put in the plastic bags!!!! Oy. The bread came dangerously close to getting smashed! NEVER AGAIN HOCKEY PUNKS!!!!
We watched The Simpsons Movie last night. It was pretty funny.

Usually Jack nurses to sleep but occasionally he will nurse for freakin ever and still not be asleep so I'll pop him off and he'll just hold my thumb and fall asleep. When he wakes up in the middle of the night....he just needs to hold my thumb for a few minutes and then he falls back asleep. Today when I was putting him down for his nap....he wanted to nurse and hold my thumb! Oh for pete's sake kid....one or the other! He went down for his nap at 10am! We got up at 6 so I figured he'd be ready early today but not that early. Oh well. I'm not complaining. Just means he'll prolly nap til 1 and then still go to bed early!
I really need to start making myself a couple of lists. I need to make of list of things I want to make sure to pack and a list of things I need to get from the store and Jared's chore list for while we're gone ;)
Jack misses his Nana :( He was asking for her this morning. He hasn't seen in her 5 days. I think that's a record. I've been trying to get him to say baby Simon. He tries but it sounds nothing the same. It's funny because he's really started repeating A LOT of things lately. Time to curb the sailor talk. But some things he tries to repeat and it's so far off....it's pretty funny. I tried to get a video of him making his animal sounds this morning but he would only do kitty and monkey. Stinker.
The Sarah Silverman video w/ Matt Damon is hilarious! Go look for it. You'll chuckle.
