We all took nice long naps yesterday afternoon so that was good. Jack and Brooke played with his dumptruck and police car in the driveway for a bit in the afternoon. Rob, Barb and Brooke were all coming/staying for dinner.

Jack slept all night. We swapped the humidifier in his room with the super noisy air purifier from the spare room. Some nights I know he only wakes up because he hear's me go the bathroom and our house is really creaky.

Tonight Jared is bringing home one of those Little Tikes play house things and a double stroller from a woman he works with! I'm pretty excited.

I have Brooke and Lizzie all day today and Charlotte this afternoon. It's not supposed to rain so we'll be outside for sure. Barb was going to send a teeter-totter thing with Brooke. She's also getting us discount tickets for Underwater World for Sunday! :O)

The forecast for tomorrow no longer says rain. YAY!! I'll be able to have all the kids outside.

I was putting him down for his nap today at my mom's cuz I worked there a bit this morning and he said "g'night, sleep tight" which is weird cuz we don't say "sleep tight" so I don't know where he got that.

After Pop's birthday breakfast at my mom's we went home and Jack and I napped while Jared scooped poop and tried to figure out what was wrong with the dryer. Looks like we're going dryer shopping tonight :/
In the afternoon it was really nice out so we hung out in the backyard for a bit.

I dried 2 loads of laundry at my mom's this morning while doing some cutting and pressing for her. Jack, Lizzie and I walked up to Podvin Park this afternoon for a bit. Then when Charlotte got here the kids played outside for a bit more.

Our computer's fixed!!! YAY!!!!! Jared took it to work yesterday and a dude he works with took it apart and soldered some part that was loose so now the cord plugs in real nice and it charges!! Hooray!!!!! :O) Saved us some caching eh? !!! Now he needs to find out what kind of cookies dude likes so I can make him some. 

We're going to Teddy Bear Park today with Barb and Brooke. I'm excited. We haven't been there since last summer and Jack wasn't walking yet so he could only enjoy a very little part of it. Rob, Barb and Brooke came over last night and we grilled and they stayed over. I musta been really tired. I fell asleep putting Jack to bed at 8:15!  Didn't wake up until like 10:45. 

Jack's been saying "lookit!" a lot. Like if he's flipping through a book he'll say "Mama, lookit!" and if I don't look right away....he says it over and over and the "Mama" comes out more and more annoyed like!

Jack says the funniest things. He just started saying "Ohmygoodness!" yesterday. I got a funny video of him yelling it. He's also been saying "oh man!" and "it's ok". It's funny when he says "it's ok" cuz a lot of times it's right after he says "oh honey!" like when he gets something on his hands, or sees one of his books where he's ripped a page, or when he spills a bowl of cheerios. If he's walking with his Barney book and he accidentally drops it.....he says "it's ok Barney". He's also been saying things like "c'mon sippy cup" or "watch out puzzle". He says something new that makes us laugh every single day. I swear there were more but I can't think of them right now.

We had fun at my mom's yesterday. Jack looked cute as can be in his little polo shirt. The kids had fun hunting for eggs and then Jack was really excited opening them and finding lots of fruit snacks. He loves fruit snacks. He was so looking forward to seeing aunty Cathy. I told him in the morning all the people we were going to see that afternoon and then all day he was asking about aunty Cathy :o)

It's a good thing I got "Oh Hi! How's it goin?" on video cuz he won't say it anymore :( We tried getting him to say it yesterday and he wouldn't. Well, he did once we got home :P

I have Brooke in the afternoons this week Monday - Wednesday and Lizzie every afternoon except today and Charlotte just Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Next week I'll start watching Rosemary again but only on Fridays.

Thursday Jared has off and we're going to the Children's Museum in the morning and then meeting his mom for lunch for her birthday.

Jack's been off the teet for 5 days! It's going very well. Yesterday I got him to nap with me (I never fell asleep though :( I was almost asleep and then had to pee) no problem and the last few nights have been a piece of cake. He cries for about 30 seconds and then yawns and goes to sleep holding my thumb. Actually I think night before last he didn't even want my thumb or cry! Actually, 2 of the 5 nights he didn't cry at all at bedtime. Hooray!!

We watched 300 the other day. I thought it was much better than some of the other crap we've seen lately. We also tivo'd Hot Fuzz, Idiocracy, Smokin Aces (seen that), and Scent of a Woman. Neither of us have ever watched all of Scent of a Woman. I'm getting disc 4 of the series Taken probably today or tomorrow.

Jack will be 1 in 1 month. It's crazy. He had fun with alot of the toys Brooke got yesterday. Some of the things she really didn't have much interest in until she saw Jack play with them :P She gave him one of her old toys. It's a dumptruck. He loves it.

Jack and I did some shopping today. I need to find an outfit for him to wear to Rob and Barb's wedding. I'm having no luck. We went to Joann's to see a pattern my mom had found but I didn't like it. I really don't want to pay $65 for a little tux. Lame. So then we went to the mall and looked around. Nada. Then we went to Target and again nada. I didn't really expect them to have anything though. We were mostly going there for Brooke's birthday presents. We got some good stuff. Her 2nd birthday is this Sunday! We actually got to see her and Rob briefly at Joann's too. They were in the process of moving stuff from Menomonie and I was talking to Rob on the phone as we pulled in. He said they'd stop by too. Jack was pretty excited to see Brooke. He sure likes her :)

Argh! I had all these pics uploaded and an entry typed up and I hit some key I guess accidentally and it was all gone. Argh. I swear lj saves drafts all the time when I could care less but nooooo, not this time.

So we didn't sell any onesies at the craft fair yesterday :( It was pretty freakin hot out. Jack and I were only there for about 2 hours. Leah stayed a bit longer. She was going to go back again today. I didn't feel like it. Not feeling so hot today. Too much keg beer at Rob's grad party last night :/

I haven't talked to Leah yet to see how today went. Hopefully she sold some. We have 2 more craft fairs coming up. We need to come up with a better way to display the onesies. I think having them all hanging some how would be best.

Who has some good chicken recipes?

We're sick to death of eating chicken the same way all the time. If I don't come up with something good we're having pizza. 

My little brother's graduating from college this weekend. Who'da thunk it. Just kiddin Rob ;)
He just got a new car for his monster commute to his new job in Eden Prairie from Forest Lake. Got himself a Le Sabre. AKA old man car. It's pretty nice. Room for lots of car seats ;) 
I don't know what to get him for a grad present. I spose I could let him win at poker the next time we play........

Is anyone else as anxious as we are for Rescue Me to come back? I've been a big fan of Denis Leary for like 15 years. I used to have his No Cure For Cancer tape. That was funny sh!t. I could pretty much recite the whole tape. If you haven't watched previous seasons of Rescue Me, you are missing out my friend. Unless of course you're not big on shows that cuss alot.
