I got the living room dusted and vacuumed and the bathroom cleaned and the laundry started and bathed Jack and showered myself and put clothes away all before Brooke got here at 9:30. I'm awesome :P I got a nap today too while they napped. It was awesome until my brother called and ruined it :P

Jack started singing a new version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star the other day and it's so funny. I have no idea where he got it. He says "tinko tinko tinko little star....I wonder what you are!" all matter of factly...not in the same tune as the original or anything. He's not even really singing. It's so goofy. I had to encourage him a bit but finally got a video of it while he was wrestling with Brooke.

I didn't even really take any pics at the zoo. My mom wanted one of her and the kids on this turtle so then I decided to get one too. That's it :/

Thursday I'll be watching Lizzie all day now in addition to Brooke and Jack! Busy 2 days for me. I told Jared I want to go to the Mall of America and walk around and go to Underwater World for Mother's Day. I think Jack would LOVE Underwater World. I like to walk around the mall too. Not really shop there. It's too expensive. Jack would prolly really like to see Lego Land too and maybe go to Nickelodeon world. Mother's day and I wanna do all this stuff that's moreso for Jack :P

I was putting him down for his nap today at my mom's cuz I worked there a bit this morning and he said "g'night, sleep tight" which is weird cuz we don't say "sleep tight" so I don't know where he got that.

After Pop's birthday breakfast at my mom's we went home and Jack and I napped while Jared scooped poop and tried to figure out what was wrong with the dryer. Looks like we're going dryer shopping tonight :/
In the afternoon it was really nice out so we hung out in the backyard for a bit.

I dried 2 loads of laundry at my mom's this morning while doing some cutting and pressing for her. Jack, Lizzie and I walked up to Podvin Park this afternoon for a bit. Then when Charlotte got here the kids played outside for a bit more.

Some new Jack-isms: "GOD!!" "Oh, jeez!" "Ready? Let's Go!" "Just a minute!" "C'mere!" and he even looks up as if rolling his eyes when he says "God!".

He said "Whoa! That's a big teddy bear!".

After spending some time at the park we walked around and checked out the shops along with a stop by the river. Jack got a new stuffed Curious George since he's obsessed with him lately. We had lunch out on the patio at the Freighthouse. Jack fell asleep on the way home holding George in the car. We napped together when we got home too since he only got about a 15 minute nap in the car. Thank god! I was wiped out. Stillwater has some very steep streets! We napped for 2 hours.....with George of course :o)

The kids had fun outside today. I took Jack and Brooke out for a bit this morning but it was pretty chilly. We went out again this afternoon with Lizzie.

I thought of a couple more. He's been calling some things "cute!", saying "that's funny" when he's being silly, saying "good boy!" when he puts his toys away or dishes in the sink or socks in the drawer. He loves to put his socks away. We have a little drawer thingy in the living room with a stash of his clothes in it cuz we're always changing him and getting him dressed down here. He knows his socks go in the top drawer so whenever I'm folding clothes he takes his socks and puts them away. If he's wearing socks, he takes them off and puts them away and then says "good boy!" and claps for himself :P

This kid dances EVERY TIME HE HEARS MUSIC. Any music. It's always the same dance and he makes this super excited face. It's so funny. I got a short video of it this morning. It's funny cuz Jenks comes over by him and he says "Jenky GO!!!" which is what he says now if you're invading his space.

Jared put Jack to bed again last night. He actually fell asleep doing it. I could hear him snoring all the way downstairs!

 


It's snowing today. WTF???

Jack says the funniest things. He just started saying "Ohmygoodness!" yesterday. I got a funny video of him yelling it. He's also been saying "oh man!" and "it's ok". It's funny when he says "it's ok" cuz a lot of times it's right after he says "oh honey!" like when he gets something on his hands, or sees one of his books where he's ripped a page, or when he spills a bowl of cheerios. If he's walking with his Barney book and he accidentally drops it.....he says "it's ok Barney". He's also been saying things like "c'mon sippy cup" or "watch out puzzle". He says something new that makes us laugh every single day. I swear there were more but I can't think of them right now.

We had fun at the Children's Museum this morning. We got there shortly after they open and that is the best time to go. It was gettting crazy by the time we left at 10:30. We haven't been there in a long time. Like since before Jack could walk! So it was so much fun for him this time. Now that we have a membership....we need to get there more often. Hopefully when we have a 2nd car again. The Sesame Street exhibit could have been a lot cooler. Jack was being Mr. Cautious in the little little kid area. He was so funny. He just learned how to go down steps the other day and Jared helped him up a ramp and then he needed to go down steps to come down. It was funny because he saw the steps and got down and started backing up like 5 feet before he even got to the steps. There were kids a lot younger than him that just plowed down ramps and over steps and what not and he was very slow and cautious. It was cute. Then there was this one area where you go up steps, across a drawbridge and then down a slide. He wouldn't walk across the drawbridge. He backwards crawled across it part way and then spun around and crawled forward. Then he put his feet down on the slide so he went super slow. Jared got videos of that.

After the Children's Museum we met Jared's mom and stepdad for lunch as today's Carole's birthday. Lunch was nice and Jack was happy to see Grandma and Grandpa. Jack thinks all older men are his Papa :P It's kind of funny. He referred to a few other guys at the restaurant as Papa or Papa Great (that's what he calls my Papa). Jack got about a 20 minute nap on the way there and then another 15 minute nap on the way home. I was able to get him to sleep again even once we got home! He napped for about another 45 minutes and would have napped longer but I woke him up so he wouldn't be up too late tonight. Lizzie and Charlotte were here this afternoon and will be here again tomorrow. We may walk up to Cup N Cone tomorrow cuz it's already open!! Brooke will be here for a bit in the morning tomorrow too.

I'm 25 weeks today. I'm definitely feeling like I have less energy than I did a few weeks ago. My hips and knees hurt no matter how many pillows I sleep with. Especially after last night. I ended up sleeping with Jack for the better part of the night. I'm not sure why he was having such a rough night. He went to bed easily......we read a couple books and that was it but then he woke up a number of times so I ended up just staying in there with him. He pretty much wanted to hold hands all night :/
I've been really tired and stressed and emotional this week. I hope it passes quickly. I don't like feeling like this and I certainly don't want to for the rest of this pregnancy. It's hard to keep a handle on my patience this week.

I forgot another thing Jack has been saying. "Oh Hi! How's it goin?" It's pretty damn funny. I got it on video too. The first one I kind of had to prompt him and it's not as clear as the 2nd one. The 3rd video is of him saying "Oh honey!" and I had to prompt him in that one too but it's pretty cute :o)
He's also been saying "Hey!" He cracks me up the way he says it but no video of that.
He says "Tyamy" for aunty Amy. He kind of mashes the 2 together I'm sure because of how quickly I say them.

It's so weird now that Jack talks all the time and it's coherent!
Our Conversation while he drank his juice and I changed his diaper:

Jack: Where'd Daddy go?
Me: Daddy's at work.
Jack: I see you Dino! (his dinosaur was right behind me)
Jack: Owie neow?
Me: Yes, that's your owie from the kitty.
Jack: Big bite!
Me: Did you get a big sip?
Jack: Geen! Boo!
Me: That's right, your sippy is green and blue.
Jack: Yo?
Me: You want to watch Yo Gabba Gabba?
Jack: Kitties go?
Me: Where did the kitties go?

Then I went to put his jammies in the laundry basket and he went to turn the tv on and I hear "Ohhh honey!" He had turned the tv on but it said "searching for satellite" and wasn't working. Obviously, when something goes wrong or he makes a mess or something I say "ohh honey!". It's really cute when he says it.

He's a dancin fool these days. He dances to almost any music he hears. Yesterday this barnyard movie was on and I tivo'd it for him. When he watched he was really gettin down. Just now he was sit down dancing to Yo Gabba Gabba. Naturally once I get the video going he stops but I got him to start up again. We've been listening to Wee Sing Silly Songs a lot lately and he really likes them. Especially Little Bunny Foo Foo because he knows that one and he likes to "bop em on the head" and he likes when I say "Poof! You're a goon!".

Yesterday I tried to get a video of him saying Cookie Monster because he says Cookie Monez. Whenever I was recording he would only say Cookie though :/



Our reubens were pretty tasty last night! As was our St. Pat's Oreo dessert :o)

Brooke's coming over today at 9:30. Jack will be happy to have a playmate today.

We watched The L Word last night. Holy crap! That's awesome what Adelle did to Jenny! BwaaHaahaaaaaa!! I can't belive next week is already the season finale :(

Yesterday was a nice relaxing day. I went to Cub and then took another long nap when Jack did. I wanted to get stuff at Cub to decorate cupcakes this Friday with the kids for St. Pat's but they had green sprinkles and that's it :( Maybe we'll do that for Easter instead.

Jack pats my tummy now when I ask him where Keira is. And he gives her kisses :o) I got a short video of it. At the end I'm trying to get him to say Keira and he keeps telling Daisy "stop it" because she's eating cheerios he dropped on the floor :P He eventually says it though it's kind of hard to hear. At the beginning he's mad that I'm blocking his precious Handy Manny show :P

I have Lizzie today at 12:30, Brooke at 1:30, and Charlotte at 3:30. I have Brooke and Lizzie all week and Charlotte every day but Wednesday.

Jared said I can go to Ikea this weekend! HOORAY!!! I have a gift card from Christmas I've been itchin to spend :o)

The L Word was really good last night! I find it hard to believe that some of those women went on that bike trip and there was no sign of any pre ride biking. I really find it hard to believe that Jenny and Kit did it. Anywho. I totally called it that Adelle would gank that tape and I'm pretty excited to see her motives next week! It's about time things got juicy with her. The whole Jenny and whatshername....lead actress girl....relationship is so unbelievable anyway. I'm over the storyline with Kit and The Planet and those other 2 psychos from Shebar. Poor Jody. Bette and Tina are such idiots though. They couldn't stop looking at eachother and were just asking to blow that whole secret. If Bette wouldn't have been so adamant about her views on kissing/cheating in a STUPID DRINKING GAME.....Jody wouldn't have had to find out that way. Either way...... I like Alice the best. She's my favorite :o) Where the hell is Papi????

We've already got Jack saying Keira! It's pretty cute. We're also trying to get him to say little sister but that's not workin just yet.

Brookester has a case of pink-eye and has only been on meds since yesterday morning so I didn't really want to risk Jack getting it by having her come over this afternoon. My mom rearranged her schedule and is watching her instead.

Since Jared was off today, Jack and I took advantage of having a vehicle and went to the mall. I let him play in the play area but only briefly. There were TONS of kids and very few of them were being watched very well. Kids getting pushed down the slide and what not. That and a few stunk of poop and some had hacking coughs!! NICE! So we moved on to the little individual rides that cost 75 cents and Jack was super excited to ride a Bob The Builder ride. After that I Purell'd his hands and we moved on. I found him a cute hat and a couple of shirts on clearance at Old Navy. I was hoping to find some cute girl stuff there because they always have tons of girl stuff on clearance and no boy stuff! Not the case today. So I got him 2 shirts for $3 a piece and an Irish themed hat for $5 that he loved and cried when I took off his head! It's cute cuz it says Little Hooligan's Club.

We cruised around some more and I didn't really find too many cute baby girl outfits that I absolutely loved. Which is a good thing cuz we really don't need to buy any. Rob and Barb have a ton of baby girl stuff for us. I did find one cute little combo that I decided to get. It's 2 onesies and some matching pants. No more shopping! Until garage sale season starts that is :P I also got myself a strawberry Julius and it was delicious!

Jack is better at playing catch than me! We got 2 real short videos of it. I can't believe how often he catches the ball when we play catch! Kid's only 19 1/2 months!! We tossed the ball back and forth like 6 times without it hitting the ground! We only managed a string of 3 in the video I think.

We're watching The Good Shepard tonight. Jack will probably be going to bed early as he napped for like 3 minutes this morning on the way to the chiro and then refused to nap at home then got about a 20 minute nap in the car on the way to the mall. I took the long way so he could keep napping and because I was talking to Amy :o)

We both managed a 2 1/2 hour nap yesterday and it was awesome! I felt much better after that. I had the worst headache all day but at least the nausea and weak feeling was gone towards the afternoon.

Jack's been on a "that's Daddy's" kick. Everything in the house is Daddy's I guess. The only thing he recognizes as being Mama's is my pink contact case :/ He either says "that's mine" or "that's Daddy's" to everything else.

I finally got a video of Jack saying all the animal sounds he knows. He gets a little distracted in the middle and then again towards the end but then comes back around for the big finish :o) I had to ask him if we were all done and then quick sneak a couple more out of him. When he watched this video with me he did all of them as soon as he heard me ask in the video. Even some that he wouldn't do in the video. Oh well. I'm surprised he did as many in the video as he did. Usually when we get the camera out these days all he will do is say cheese!

He used to say yea when we would ask him questions but yesterday he started saying yup! It's pretty funny.
Brooke should be here soon. I think we're going to make valentine's today.

I wonder if Jack likes me at all? He loves to just walk around and say Mamamamamamamamamamama! Also, he's recently started saying cheese as soon as I get the camera out....lol. Of course he wouldn't do it on this video but he was saying it when I got the camera out.
